Contract Signed! Jinggong International to Build a "Future Cultural Landmark" on a Saudi Cliffside

Created on:2025-12-02 11:31

Recently, Jinggong International and Saudi Arabia's NESMA & Partners held a grand signing ceremony for the subcontract of the Qiddiya Performing Arts Center (QPAC). This marks not only another major breakthrough for Jinggong International in the high-end Middle Eastern construction market but also a new chapter of cooperation between Chinese and Saudi enterprises under the "Vision 2030" blueprint.

The core management from both sides attended the ceremony. The Jinggong delegation was led by Mr. Sun Guanfu (Vice Chairman of Jinggong Holding Group and Executive Chairman & CEO of Jinggong Steel Structure), accompanied by Mr. Wang Xu (General Manager of Jinggong International), Mr. Gu Li (Chief Engineer), and Mr. Mao Wei (Director of the Middle East CBU). NESMA & Partners was represented by Mr. Richard Oiler (Executive Vice President & Chief Engineer) and Mr. Haytham Kalash (Executive Vice President).

Both sides expressed their strong desire to build a long-term, stable, and mutually trusted strategic partnership, aiming to expand their collaboration from this "debut" to a series of brilliant future projects across the broader market.

Situated in the core plateau area of the Qiddiya Entertainment City, the project sits on the edge of the Tuwaiq Mountains, overlooking the stunning Qiddiya canyon with a natural "landmark-level" visual advantage.

Once completed, it will be a high-end venue integrating art performances, cultural exchanges, and tourist experiences, effectively filling the gap for large-scale professional performing arts venues in the western region of Riyadh.

The project's highly complex steel structure system encompasses blade towers, attic truss levels, lobbies and plazas, specialty restaurants, adaptable theaters, and connecting bridges. The interior features two core spaces: an 1,800-seat premium theater and a 500-seat adaptable theater. Designed to host over 200 indoor and outdoor performances and cultural events annually, it caters to diverse local and international demands. This strong alliance is a vivid practice of Chinese intelligent manufacturing, using outstanding steel structure technological strength to empower Saudi Arabia's cultural and artistic development and contribute to the "China-Saudi Arabia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership."
